Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning
At Bark & Bubble, we use the emmi-pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning system which is gentle, non-invasive cosmetic cleaning to help keep your dog's smile fresh.
Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is a calm, vibration-free way to help reduce plaque, tartar, and improve your dog's oral hygiene. It's ideal for helping owners maintain their dog's oral health between routine veterinary dental checks, and it's a brilliant way to introduce younger dogs to positive dental care early on.
How it works
We use the emmi-pet ultrasonic system, which cleans using sounds waves rather than brushing.
No noise, no vibration, no scrubbing.
Just a soft toothbrush head and a special toothpaste that creates microbubbles to help loosen and lift plaque from the teeth and gum line.
Your dog stays comfortable throughout, as we work at their pace with plenty of positive reinforcement.
What to expect
The first appointment will be a consultation and gentle intoduction to the toothbrush and paste. From there, we will continue with 30-minute ongoing sessions focussing on gradual, comfortable cleaning.
Every dog is different. Some dogs show visible improvement quickly, whilst others need consistent weekly sessions. Staining or heavy tartar may not fully lift, even with regular cleaning. Home dental care is essential for maintaining results.
Consultation: £40 Ongoing sessions: £28-£30
Who is suitable
Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is ideal for:
- Dogs who need help maintaining oral hygiene between routine vet dental checks to keep on top of plaque and tartar build up.
- Younger dogs who are new to dental care introducing them to mouth handling and build good habits early.
- Dogs who dislike traditional brushing as the silent, vibration-free process is often more comfortable.
- Dogs with mild to moderate plaque or staining as this service is ideal for cosmetic improvement and fresher breath.
- Owners who want a preventative, supportive approach alongside home brushing, chews, and vet care.
What you need to know
This service is a cosmetic grooming service. It is designed to help reduce plaque and tartar and is a helpful service improving breath and supporting better oral hygiene. The gentle, stress-aware process is tailored to your dog's comfort and is ideal to work alongside home teeth cleaning and veterinary dental care.
Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is not a veterinary dental procedure and it does not diagnose, treat, or cure dental disease. If we notice loose teeth, gum inflammation, oral pain, or anything that suggests dental disease, we will pause the session and recommend a vet check.
